How do you memorize Scripture?

The quickest way I memorize is by singing scripture and It sticks with me for years. The other ways I memorize is to...

put it on 4X6 cards and read the scripture over and over and over and over again.
draw pictures of it
use it as copywork
write it out and erase words until there is no more words left and I have it all memorized

So how do ya'll memorize scripture?

I've found that this works really well:

Write it down (dry earase board works best, but lightly with pencil is okay too) and read it once or twice out loud. Then earase one word (or even better is to turn around and have someone else earase one word) then read it again out loud. Then one more word gets earased and tou read it again, etc until the whole thing is memorized!

I've done all of those ways! The best would be Reading it over and over though.

I have memorized Psalm 23 by making it a song!

Yes, also, for me I have to be determined and focused.
I don't know, maybe that's just me, but It does help.

Exactly how I memorized the first play I was in that I memorized the lines to.

The way I do it is I read it through a few times and then I say the start until the first comma in my head and then look at it and see if its right and then I go to the next comma and so on.
